Happenings in December

We are featuring the local photography of Karin Seager Cockram.  Karin has framed works, books, mugs and prints available for purchase.  Karin's unique perspective leads to some things even locals may not be aware of.These works are very reasonably priced and Karin even donates a portion of each sale to local non-profits.

On Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m. our classic movie series presents “The Miracle on 34th St. and Truman Capote’s “A Christmas Memory,” plus other short subjects. It’s free! Come join us.

Happenings in November

There will be works from several local artists and crafts people.  This show will be open for the Christmas in the Village weekend on November 16, 17, and 18.

On Friday November 16th at 7pm Lake Shore Center for the Arts is once again pleased to present Kim Tennerio with his one man production of Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol".  There is a preview at 6:15 where Kim tells the story of Charles Dickens.  Only 40 seats available in our state of the art Jacqueline Philips Theater, $10 admission.

Saturday, November 17, will find some of our members singing Christmas Carols and performing in a brief skit of "A Christmas Carol" through out the village.  At 5:00 pm you can find us in the inaugural lighted parade down Main St from Westfield Family Physicians to Moore Park.

We are going to have some new and exciting things happen in the next few months, stay tuned as we kick into high gear in the upcoming year.

The Original A Star is Born Tuesday November 13, 7 pm

We will be showing the original "A Star is Born" from 1937 starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March.  As always with our movie nights we will have a newsreel and cartoons from the same year and this month music from Benny Goodman.  Join us in our Jacqueline Philips Theater, concessions are available.

"Unplugged in the Middle of the Field", our monthly variety show starring Hans Mueller and Floyd Kowalski will feature artist Kathy Gullo on May 25th at 7pm.  In addition to Kathy we have the Unknown Comic, The "Lit Lady", Wait Wait Westfield (compete with prizes!), musicians, crafts, Petunia the Pig, and so much more.  Come laugh with us for a mere $5, you will be glad you came!
Tuesday, May 15th we will show "His Gal Friday" at 7 pm. In addition to the movie we have cartoons, a newsreel and musical selections from the same year.  Our movies are shown for FREE in our intimate theater on the third floor of the Presbyterian Church in the Jacqueline Philips Theater.
We hope you will join us, we have movie night the third Tuesday of each month, make movie night part of your social life!!  Concessions are available.

A Tribute!

Coming soon, Saturday, August 14th at 7:30 pm. Tickets available at the door for $10.00. This concert will be held in the sanctuary with a reception in the Bill Ross Music Hall. Russ is dedicating this concert to his mentor/ teacher Bill Ross. Russ will be playing both clarinet and saxophone for this JAZZ performance.
